Tension is good when you give it space to create solutions rather than disrupt the relationships among group members. Every group is inherently dysfunctional. It's the differences in people,  priorities that create pressure. Dysfunction is good -- those individuals and their differences bind the team together like eggs in a cake. Without the egg, those ingredients won't stick together. As a leader, you want your group talent to contribute to a high-performing group. That means developing your own capacity for using tension to have comprehensive conservations. A team of researchers from New York University School of Medicine, Mount Sinai Beth Israel Medical Center, the Feinstein Institute for Medical Research and the University of Pennsylvania has identified that layers of the human body long thought to be connective tissues — below the skin’s surface, lining the digestive tract, lungs, and urinary systems, and surrounding arteries, veins, and the fascia between muscles — are actually interconnected, fluid-filled compartments, categorizing them as an organ.   Giving up is one of my best way of escape. I just love it. I either decide to stop doing a particular thing when I'm frustrated or I decide to do it badly and fail at it when I'm fed up. I would rather say that I did not sit down for an exam than say that I sat for it and failed it. The recent passing of Billy Graham has prompted countless tributes from religious and political leaders around the world. He was truly one of a kind, and I doubt we will see another religious figure like him. But now that I am in another life, building a business and figuring out the path of an entrepreneur, I’m experiencing his influence again. Dr. Graham wasn’t just a preacher or an evangelist.
